Dirty Laundry: What Judith Giuliani Might Reveal in Her Upcoming Tell-All Book About Her Divorce from Rudy

In a court appearance that has been described as a “circus,” Judith Nathan Giuliani and her soon-to-be-ex Rudy Giuliani gave quite the spectacle in their last divorce hearing in New York.

“I have no desire to remain married to her for one more day,” an annoyed Rudy commented after the proceedings.

Rudy Giuliani’s wife Number 3, Judith Nathan, wants the former Mayor to pay her $63,000 per month in spousal support, plus expenses, including housing. Aside from whatever she ends up getting, Nathan is shopping around for a publisher for a book she is writing about her marriage to the man credited with making NYC’s streets safer.

The book may be out before the divorce is final, as the legal proceedings are proving to be complex. The judge himself believes a trial is inevitable. “I think we’re going to be moving this case along to a lengthy and unpleasant trial,” he said during the recent hearing.

The justice described the proceedings as a “circus” after Giuliani used words like “Goddamnit” and “Bullsh*t” when his wife’s counsel accused him of refusing to foot the bill for his mother-in-law’s fancy nursing home, something he had allegedly promised to do.

The opposing attorney’s mention of his alleged mistress, Maria Ryan, also angered Giuliani, whose temper is beginning to resemble that of his most powerful client. “Cheap shot!” he blurted out when he heard Ryan’s name.

Rudy Giuliani’s daughter Caroline and his son Andrew might have been embarrassed to see their father disrespecting the court so much that the judge had to call out, “Don’t interrupt the proceeding. You have lawyers representing you.”

The Giulianis are fighting over luxury real estate in both Southampton and Manhattan, allegedly secret bank accounts, and undisclosed trust payments. While Rudy says he cannot afford to fund his ex’s lifestyle, he reportedly made $9 million in 2017 and nearly $5 million last year. On the other hand, Judith argues that her estranged husband spent $900,000 in half a year, much more than she is demanding for her own expenses. Rudy Giuliani’s net worth is estimated at $45 million.

As the pair await their next court date, scheduled for May 30th, Judith Nathan will have time to work on her manuscript and interest some big players in the publishing world.

Sources close to Judith say the book will be “explosive.” Perhaps ‘America’s Mayor’s’ greatest fear is that his former soulmate’s revelations will damage some of his most powerful allies, which includes the likes of President Trump.

Three publishers have shown interest in the prospective book. According to a friend of Judith’s, the nonfiction work will not be “a salacious ‘In bed with Rudy’-type book.” On the contrary, the insider told reporters, “Judith’s book will talk about how [Giuliani] and his powerful friends operate, the secret deals, and secret handshakes, what it is like being on the inside with Manhattan and DC’s power brokers. There is also much to discuss about Rudy’s relationship with President Trump, and how Rudy struggled after his own political ambitions to be president failed.”

As it is often the case with celebrity divorce, Judith Nathan’s threat to expose Giuliani’s best-guarded secrets in a book will give her some leverage to negotiate a favorable settlement. Certainly, her 15 years with Trump’s lawyer must have provided enough juicy stories to entertain her readers.

As the parties seem more and more embittered by the hour, it is difficult to predict how the tale will unfold. In a recent interview, Judith Nathan seemed calmer than her soon-to-be-ex’s courtroom persona. The would-be author expressed nostalgia for Giuliani’s “no-nonsense, straight-talking mayoral past” which she believes contrasts his “current, presidential-lawyer habit of ‘dissembling, to put it kindly.’”

As his family collapses, the ‘Leader of The Free World’s’ attorney seems to have found comfort in his daughter Caroline Rose Giuliani, who gave him a copy of Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer for Christmas. As comics started to make fun of the implicit irony, considering the Commander-in-Chief’s taste, Caroline’s Democratic-party inclinations made headlines, something that may have contributed to her father’s grumpy mood.

“The man that he is now is absolutely not the man he was when I married him,” Judith said in an interview. “For a variety of reasons that I know as a spouse and a nurse, he has become a different man.”
